Lição 39 -Is there e Are there
Nas duas últimas lições aprendemos a usar there is, there are e suas formas negativas (there isn’t e there aren’t). Hoje continuaremos estudando as expressões there is/there are, porém na sua forma interrogativa, ou seja, para fazer perguntas.
IS THERE
Assim como em outros casos da língua inglesa, a forma interrogativa de there is é feita com a inversão do verbo, ficando então is there.

Is there a tree in the garden?
Há/existe uma árvore no jardim?
Is there a book on the table?
Há/existe um livro na mesa?
Is there a problem here?
Há/existe um problem aqui?
Is there a hotel near here?
Há/existe um hotel perto daqui?
Is there a man on the roof?
Há/existe um homem no telhado?
